The Slough Creek server

Yesterday, i came across a lovely SC server where the goal was to not have a den. Initially, I thought this was a bad idea, but we settled on a patch of grass on the rocky surface of Little Butte. It made a great spot because it was difficult for the predators to acess, and during the entire one hour and a half I was there, I didn't come across a single predator! And no puppies died! It was a very relaxed pup-rearing server which is rare. I had enough spare time to explore the cabin and snap some screenshots of the morning light blanketing Slough Creek.

I also came across another cool server! I finally found my very first fish, it seemed to have randomly spawned/been dropped.

Hmm, now I want to try and do a no den challenge using Little Butte as my home base. Maybe I'll have to try that during my next SC playthrough!

⟟ want the game so bad, this looks like so much fun! Pretty cool that you can raise puppies without a den, didn't realize that was possible!
