WolfQuest

A wolf named Slate, who lived in Lost River, had a dream of an expansive wilderness where she hunted elk, fought with the Wapiti wolf pack, and encountered a winter unlike the winters of her home alongside a newly found friend.
After her mate died trying to take a carcass from a bear that wouldn`t give up, she set off in search of the place. Here she has just found it.

The wolf in front of Slate is one that can`t be chosen as a mate and I was surprised because it was wagging it`s tail back to Slate. It was still relatively aggressive, though. ...And confused as to why I was being friendly.
