Thanks for putting this Tonbei! This will make it easier for new members and those who are not experienced with screenshot taking and combining! :D

Sometimes people who know a lot about how to use certain features on the PC forget about those who don't know.
Thanks for posting this up, helpful for those who need it! c:

How do you post screenshots? Couldn't get the copy and paste method to work. Also, this was helpfull for knowing how to screenshot. Thanks.

Images cannot be posted directly on the forum using the img tags unless you are part of the usergroup that allows users to post them. If you are not part of that usergroup, you will have to post links to the image instead by either copy and pasting the links into your post or using this code,

Code: Select all

[url=link]text for it to show up as[/url]

Thanks for the tip.

Edit: How do you use the img tag?

Hi Soka,

The code for image tags looks like this:

Code: Select all

[img]Put the web link to your image in here![/img]
The IMG tag button doesn't appear on the "Post a reply" screen if you don't yet have permission, or if the particular part of the forum you are in doesn't allow images (it will say whether or not they are allowed below the smilies).

But like Kivia said above, in order to be able to use the image tags, you have to apply and get permission first :) . Kivia linked to the page you need in her post!

Ugh somebody help! I have a laptop without an F1 key (if it helps I have a Toshiba).. I'm not sure if any laptop has one but anyway; in the game it says to press the "1" but it won't screenshot. I've checked the WolfQuest folder and I haven't seen anything. I might be looking in the wrong place, hitting the wrong key or maybe I'm just doing something wrong. I've read suggested links but they just haven't helped me. Thanks for any tips!

Every keyboard has an F1 key; it's above the number 1. I'll help point it out below:

You may need to also press and hold the Fn key (located next to the Windows key on the bottom row) when you press the F1 key, making the combination Fn + F1. Play around with it, but that should help! Otherwise, I personally use the Print Screen (PrtScr) key to take my screenshots.
