Just so people are aware, the image of the wolf that looks like it's "drinking" is actually NOT drinking; he was stuck in a glitch. The ability to drink is NOT available in the game--it just happened to look pretty cool, since the glitch occurred near water. (^_-)

That's exactly what I thought- that it was just a glitch. It does make a neat screenshot, though!

We do not have a set release date. We will release the game when it is in a state we consider to be both playable and enjoyable. We'll remove as many bugs as time and finances allow before releasing it. If you'd like something more specific, I'd estimate that slough Creek may be released in mid to late December, preferably before December 24th. But again, this is an estimated time frame. Our plans may change based on things needed to be fixed.

We are plugging away on Episode 2, and as soon as we can set a launch date with confidence, we will do that. Unfortunately, that isn't quite yet. And, unfortunately, the launch won't be in November, but for sure it will be in December. We are making progress--ten days ago we had 130 bugs and tweaks on our list; now we're down to 48, but we know we'll find more as we continue testing. So please be patient. We want to get this released as much as you do, but of course, not until it's ready.

and btw, I thought that the pups color were supposed to be based on you and your mate's coats. But all the pups in the screenshots are that bland grey color. Also, SH and her mate are light red and white, where did that grey come from?

Yes. And later I let them all die--because I'm a meanie like that. >:]

Actually (without giving too much information) it is very challenging to keep all four pups alive. But keep in mind this is only the beta test.
