The deer in a local park are very habituated to people. There is still too much snow for finding antler sheds, but you can see where the deer like to go.

A Cladonia lichen species, I think it's Cladonia pyxidata. I took this one a couple years ago when on a field trip for school. The red stick against the green makes for a pretty picture:

Some more pics, this time from work stuff.

Here's a Green Frog that hopped into our path on the way to a frog call survey. He did not feel like calling at this time of the year, but made a physical appearance for us :lol:

And I believe this beetle is an American Oil Beetle, so at least some species of Blister Beetle. There's nothing for scale in the picture but this was a pretty large/visible insect scrabbling along the sand:
