Decided to make a photography topic of my own finally after meaning to for a long time. Photos were taken with my Samsung Galaxy s5 so they aren't as good as they could be, but I think they're fairly decent. Been getting more into photography since I made an Instagram recently a few months ago (for my bird lol he is more popular than me), so I've been thinking about getting a legit camera.
Well, I don't really have much to say. Here's the first five pics and I'll link to weekly posts of more in this first post here.
These first five were taken on a trip to Costa Rica I took last June. I like portrait mode so forgive me lol.
^ When we took a tour of a really dense part of the rainforest while it was drizzling. It was a super peaceful and neat experience. Nightingales were singing everywhere and it was just really nice.
^ Up close of the Heliconia plant, which is also known as the lobster-claw or false bird-of-paradise. Those are the leaves of it and they have some stunning flora there!
^ A waterfall we saw. We saw a bigger, much louder one, but I'll post pics of that one next week or so. Now my phone hates ANYTHING that is in motion and will blur it to the best of its abilities, so I was surprised that it made this one at least somewhat clear. There also has to be a pretty intense lighting from the Sun, which was not present here either, so again, I'm surprised it took a decent picture here. I'm also triple surprised because it was in a waterproof case, which usually hinders the quality a lot.
^ CROCODILE. We saw him and many others on a tour down a Costa Rican river, along with a ton of other wildlife. It was pretty neat!
^ My only landscape mode lol. This was taken on a sky tram into the canapy of the jungle. It was so stunning to see how tall the rainforest got at the top. I was in awe at just how big and intimidating it looked. Imagine being in the middle of that, lost!
