Green Eyes?

Post by TheOnlyTherian » Fri Mar 23, 2018 5:38 pm

I've noticed that the WQ wolves have green eyes at some of the coats. Same for my wolf mate. I wonder if that is the same in real-life since WQ is of course based off on real-life wolves.
When researching, I came across this,
Wolf pups have blue eyes when they're born, but the color changes as they mature- for a while, all wolves have green eyes! However, adults' eyes are yellow, amber, orangish, or brown. ... (Can't stress this enough - adult wolves NEVER have blue eyes). Gray or green eyes in an adult wolf is known, but very rare.

Is this true?

No. Green eyes are rarer than blue eyes. Also, someone just asked the same question not too long ago. Please be sure to use the search feature in the future.

See my post in this thread for more details, as well as Dave’s post regarding the WolfQuest wolf with green eyes.
