Re: Alpha wolf
Moved to Wolf Q&A.
Wild wolf packs do not have ranks such as "alpha". Instead, they are generally made up of the breeding pair (who are usually the "dominant" wolves), and their offspring (who are usually "submissive" wolves). It is possible for an unrelated wolf to be accepted into the pack, but this is fairly uncommon and still won't cause a strict ranking system to occur.

This is not correct. Wild wolf packs do not have ranks such as "alpha". Please read my post above yours.

Re: Alpha wolf
Alpha wolf is a leader in his/her herd. He/she is the strongest of his/her own herd and in general, the alpha wolf is gray in color..

Re: Alpha wolf
Wild wolf packs do not have alphas. As I have said before, packs are usually made up of the "dominant" breeding pair and their offspring. The coat colour of a wolf does not determine how dominant or submissive it is, either.
