Our November Newsletter is up and ready for reading! It includes a MotM poll (be sure to vote), an activity check (be sure to post), and info on some of the updates that are happening around the site. You can find the link on the first post here or on the sidebar of the site. Don't forget to share your opinions in the replies on the possibility of us switching over to liquid rp!

Little bit of a late update (those of you that've stopped by the site recently would've seen a lot of these changes), but! A couple quick, but exciting, updates for everyone that might've missed it:

• 1. We have officially switched over to liquid rp! If you're not quite sure what this is or how it works, you can read our guide on it here.
  
  2. Maya, our brilliantly talented Coder, has made a Fresh and Sleek new skin for the site. It's now our default and it looks so lovely! If you haven't switched over to the new skin yet and you want to but can't figure out how, PM a staff member and we can help you out.
  
  3. If you haven't checked out the Moderation thread and familiarized yourself with it's uses, I'd recommend taking a peek at it here.

That's all for now! Also note that the front post here is currently out-of-date; it will soon be put under construction as we make room for new systems that will be implemented in the future.

Hello all! I just logged on WQ for the first time in a while to announce that the December Newsletter was up, but whew... we are a little behind over here. c;

For anyone that might come across this thread and wonder about Northbound: We are still open and very active! Roleplay is well under way (we've transitioned to winter) and we have plenty of new, cool systems in the works to make it more fun than ever. If you're interested in joining us or maybe affiliating your own rp site, please don't hesitate to check out our site, say hello in the shoutbox, PM a staff member, etc.~ We'd love to see you around!

Some updates since the last time I was here:

• 1. The front post here has just been updated to reflect more recent information.
  
  2. We now have a marketplace where you can buy and sell your art/coding/etc. as well as purchase cool perks and items from the official site shop!
  
  3. It is now winter in Northbound! Winter will last through February in real time, so you have plenty of time to get in your threads! The seasons change once about every 3 months, and new years will start when spring does.
  
  4. Keep an eye out for the map expansion and our upcoming pack creation system! More updates on this to come in the future, but it's quickly approaching. ^^

Okay, so! I just spent a bit of time picking up this thread and making sure everything was up to date, and man there was a lot of work to be done. I've added our new members (if you don't see your name/username or see something incorrect, please let me know), new affiliate, a link to our Discord, and taken out the member application. From now on all you have to do to join Northbound is make an account!

I've also added the link to our April newsletter, which included:

• The HUGE new map expansion! Take a look at all the room we have to explore here.

• Changes to our MotM system, and an inquiry about some seasonal superlatives.

• Additions to the Official NB Shop.

• The removal of the old, outdated skin we used back in October.

I hope everyone who still checks over here is having a good day. As always, we would love to see more faces around Northbound so don't hesitate to say hello here, in our shoutbox, in our Discord, etc. ^^
