xxxxxxx1. While on this thread, always follow WolfQuest's rules and guidelines!
xxxxxxx2. Respect and kindness is the name of the game. Hate and drama are not allowed outside of the rp; everyone is welcome.
xxxxxxx3. Each person is allowed one account on the site. Creating more than one account to avoid bans/suspensions, manage your characters separately, or to impersonate someone else is not allowed and will result in either a warning/suspension/ban.
xxxxxxx4. Begging for a higher/staff rank or special privileges is prohibited and decreases your chances of getting the position. When there is an opportunity for promotion, you will be informed. Also remember that OOC ranks (admin, mod, member) and the ranks of your character in-game have no correlation and must be earned organically in-game.
xxxxxxx5. If you will be gone for an extended period of time, please post in the member announcements boards to alert staff. After 1 month of no activity your account will be marked as inactive and your characters archived.
xxxxxxx6. More rules for things like roleplay, character creation, and chatbox use can all be found on our website here. Admins have the power to alter, add, and remove rules at any time, so it's important to read them and keep up to date.

Hello and welcome to Northbound! We are a semi-realistic wolf roleplay that takes place in a far-off fictional land where wild animals rule. Your characters have the choice to either join an already existing pack, such as the Guardians of Syndrana (GoS), create your own pack, or be a lone wolf - also known as a Northbounder.
The purpose of this site is to create a tight-knit community of passionate roleplayers that want their characters to experience all that the rp has to offer. We focus a lot on character-driven plots and stories as well as character development. Site wide roleplay plots will be sprinkled in to keep things flowing smoothly, but otherwise the direction of the story of Northbound is up to you and your OCs!
Roleplayers of all levels are welcome here, though we do suggest you read over our rules to make sure you know what we expect of our members. If you have any questions about anything at all, feel free to ask here or PM me (airbones), and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Northbound only affiliates with other animal roleplays, but it doesn't have to be wolves! So Northbound has caught your interest? We would love to see you join us! All you need to do to get started is simply head over to our website and make an account, no application necessary. From there it's up to you what you want to do; register a character, post your art, play forum games, get to know your fellow members, etc.! Be sure to direct any questions you might have to an Administrator and Moderator.
