--The Packs of the Land of Discord--
These lands contain two vastly different packs. Long ago, the two packs were once one but due to a dispute between the ruling parties about how the pack should be run, it was split into two. One pack was lead by the Queen, Treasure, who viewed that rankings should be held in strict regard, that they cannot be ignore, and that those at the top had every reason to do as they want and not have to adhere to the laws if they so wished. The other pack was lead by the King, Ras, who viewed that rankings are unimportant and only a way to have some semblance of order, that those at the top had no such right to do as they wished, and that all should be treated equally and are of equal importance. Their views differed greatly and split the pack in two with each choosing to side with either the King or the Queen. A great war waged between the two parties and in the end, the pack was left decimated with few remaining. Both the King and Queen saw that if they continued to fight, there would be nothing left of the packs. As such, they decided that each would go their own way and lead their own pack with the remaining wolves. Though peace had arrived for the time, neither would forgive the other and so tensions are harsh between the two packs. The thought of another possible war is heavy on everyone's mind.

Your fate lies in the luck of the draw.
This pack lives in the lap of luxury lead by the Queen, Treasure. They value living without a care in the world. These wolves are seen as happy, go-lucky, and somewhat arrogant by those outside the pack. They live in a land that is lush and beautiful, full of life. Never once have they ever had to worry about their lives for a moment. As such these wolves are leaner and smaller built to a more fast-paced life.
There is a great inequality in the pack. It is pack in which those in higher ranks will live free and easy lives while those in the lower ranks must work hard to scrape by. Those in a higher rank have equal chance of having gotten there by hard work and/or continuously praising those higher than themselves. To join this pack is to choose a hard path but one with a great reward at the end.

There is only one for each suit making a total of four. Being the best in their rank, they have earned the Suit's favor and are tasked with leading the pack in the case of her absence along with protecting her when needed. Many times they will act as her eyes, ears, and voice. They will give punishment where punishment is due and report and grievances to the Suit. They are her favored few and carry almost as much power as she does.

The best of their rank, they gained the rank through either hard work or by pleasing their superiors. They organize the activities for their rank and have the ability to promote or lower one's rank for whatever reason. On the off chance that the Suit is away and that one or more Aces are missing than they have the right to take that Ace's place but only if they are in the same suit. A gender neutral rank despite the name.

Those who would take command in the King's place in the chance that they are out of action. They have the job of acting as superior to those under them. They have the power to raise or lower a wolf's rank as well but to a lesser degree and only with the approval of either a King or higher or another Queen. A gender neutral rank.

The Numbers (Two through Ten of) ~ The Main Body; [0/∞]
The main body of the pack. Comprised of any number of wolves, they are ranked within from two to ten. Two being the lowest ranking and ten being the highest. The higher their number the more power they have. The rankings here are very fickle though as they may change any time for any number of reasons. Someone ranked eight one day might be ranked five the next due to some action or another that they did. Rising in the ranks is simple but falling is just as likely. Perform your duties admirably and rise above the rest.

The pack punching bags, they are tasked with various odds and ends and are to do each and ever task given to them. It is a hard life and they are given the least desirable tasks and the last of the meals. They perhaps ended up here due to angering a higher rank or insulting the Suit. For whatever reason, they are here now and must work their way up though that may be more difficult than usual as if they angered someone to end up here that person may attempt to keep them here. See where you will end.

We are all pieces in the game.
Things are different in this pack. Instead of ranks, there are factions. All are treated fairly in this pack. All the wolves in this pack are hard workers each doing their best to contribute. Respect is given where respect is due. They live in a land that is far from being as luxurious or as beautiful as the Cards. As such they must work harder and as a result are often stronger and built much sturdier. They are lead by the King, Ras.
You cannot rise in the faction rankings in this pack by pleasing those higher ranked. The only way is to work hard to refine your skills and enter into a specialized faction or get recognized for a great deed and promoted. To choose this pack is to choose a steady path where the end and beginning are close.

A gender neutral rank, the Queen is to take command in the case that the King is unavailable. They maintain the order and have the job of judging who is right or wrong when needed. They help out whenever they can and make decisions on the small things if needed. When needed they will help out the King with making decisions by acting as an adviser. As such, the Queen need to remain knowledgeable on all things needed.

These are the defenders of the pack. They form patrols and keep an eye out for intruders. They guard the pack day and night and make sure nothing gets into the territory. They are the keen-eyed, patient wolves and typically have the best eye sight and perception of any in the pack. There is no doubt that they are crucial to the pack order.

These are the healers and caretakers in the pack. They care for the pups and the elderly and looked out for the sick and wounded. They have the greatest knowledge of herbs and healing. They are sharp-eyed wolves and often know their way around the territory best. A crucial part of the pack, they are well-respected for the vast knowledge it takes to join their ranks.

Made of both the swift running hunters and the fire fighting warriors, this rank focus on the attack. The hunters work to gather food of all kinds for the pack. They are those that have proved swift runners and knowledged trackers and are typically the leaner members of the pack. The warriors defend the pack against intruders and others of danger to the pack. They are the bulkier built wolves with a strong bite and are fierce combatants.

The Pawns ~ The General Body; [1/∞]
Those of the general body with no specialized abilities. They know only the basics of each faction and range from all ages, from pups to adults to elders. Typically, once a wolf becomes to old to serve in a faction they are moved to the Pawns. Some here are training to gain the abilities needed to join a faction. They complete their training at 2 years of age. Otherwise, the wolves here serve no specialized faction and are able to participate in basic faction activities when needed. They perform odds and ends tasks.

Wolves that join every now and then. They aren't full members of the packs but come in now and then.
