Pushing your way past the undergrowth of a secluded part of the forest, your paws trip on an incline of purposely placed rocks. Stretching your head forwards, you begin the tedious climb upwards on the sleep incline. Scrambling to the top, you notice odd scents, as well as familiar ones. After walking through closely grown, entwining trees, you finally reach the large willow tree, ancient and held sacred to the wolves, you bow your head before it. Respecting its age and majesty. Before long, you poke your head through the vines that had grown down towards the floor over the many years. Roots had long been semi out of the ground, forming many dens for the several ranks. Straight ahead sights a large boulder, sat is the Alpha Female, Reneke. She yips a greeting before lowering her head once more to clean her paws. The Alpha's den was strictly off limits to anyone but the Beta's. Speaking of whom were off to the right, concealed in a rooted den. Stepping in further, to your very left is the Hunter's den, grown over almost purposely by several different species of plants and flowers, rocks and pebbles decorating the outside. Opposite is a larger root den, with many chambers. The subordinates live and socialise there, a few had gathered outside, chattering and gossiping. Underneath the hollowing tree, a den was built purposely. Covered with thick vines, the entrance blocked by a little wall of rocks. Enough to prevent any silk-tails fleeing the den; you realise quickly it was the nursery. Yet to be put into use by an Alpha. Lastly, came the scouts. The scouts den is tall, but not as much so as the Alpha den. They are positioned nearby the entrance also for quick and easy access to the outside. A scout is usually sat at the entrance of the den, keeping an eye out of wandering adolescents. Omegas however, aren't assigned a den. They sleep under the left over roots of the tree, sheltering them out of the wind and the rain, separate from the rest of the pack until they are sorted into ranks. You see a few of the Omegas sulking to themselves, unsure how to initiate conversation with anyone. Giving a sympathetic sigh, you walk into your assigned den, intending to rest.

Hello and welcome to the Dusk Fall Pack! I am Reneke, the pack's Alpha Female. The Dusk Fall Pack is a new and exciting chance for those who RP regularly, or those who are just starting out. This RP is intended to include the right amount of gore, excitement, drama and betrayal for an exciting story. My hopes for this pack are that it remains active, and will be fun for everyone. The Wolf Code
- Follow all WolfQuest rules on this thread. Additionally, full members should make an effort to post about once or twice a week here.
- Read and follow all of the website rules when joining. A total of three warnings will be given to any one member before a severe punishment will be given. Report any and all bad behaviour to an Alpha or Moderator. Let's keep this pack a friendly zone.
- Respect everyone in the forums, WQ thread, and chat box with it. Manners cost nothing, and remember, if you can't say something nice, don't say nothing at all.
- Currently, only one wolf per member is permitted, just to keep the RP active and alive, extra inactive wolves are a burden. Until I see a good sense of activity within the forum and community, wolves per member will remain as one. Please keep all wolves as realistic as possible.
- It is expected for each member to make at least one detailed RP post per week, whilst we accept members of all abilities, the minimum I will accept for a post is four sentences of correct English. U, ur, and r as singular words are not accepted, and I wouldn't want to go around the forums correcting posts.
- Any known absence for a period of time (a week at least) can be reported to an Alpha so we can list you as EFA (excused for absence).

Alpha
- The Alpha is the ultimate leader of the group. They are the decision makers, often found making tough choices in order to have what is best for the pack and they all must put any and all differences aside in order to be one cooperative and effective group. Alpha's are found to be a bonded pair, and the only pair to mate within the pack, other wolves are to be given permission to carry a little of their own. All decisions will be made based on territory threat, prey count and condition of the wolves in question. No other wolf is comparable in authority, Alpha's also lead pack meetings once a month at a full moon.

- This position is earned throughout the RP, though please do specify if you are interested in becoming the Alpha Male, along with another desired position.
Beta
- Beta's are the seconds-in-command. The Alpha's chose their most trusted pack members to become a Beta. It is often found that the wolves most closest to the Alpha's will be chosen. Beta's are in charge of overlooking day to day pack like and reporting back to the Alpha's. Any disputes and fights will be broken up by the Beta's, and the wolves involved will be escorted to the Alpha's. Beta's attend pack meetings alongside Alpha's.

Hunter
- Hunter's are the main source of food income for the pack. An Alpha often leads the hunt, the most skilled hunters being sorted into this position to ensure a successful hunt. Small prey is often carried back to the pack, for pups to play with and learn, and also to feed weak wolves unable to hunt outside of the territory.

Scouts
- It is a scouts job to patrol the edges of the territory, making sure scent markers are strong, and boundaries are not crossed. Rival wolves appear to be a problem, and rouges are not tolerated near the pack without permission. A scout may take on a few apprentices at a time.

Subordinate
- This is the most common position middle within the pack. Wolves in this position may have just left pup-hood, or do not yet have a position within the pack. These wolves come in all varieties, some are usually chosen to help scout from day to day. Being in this group isn't a barrier to wolves, more so a starting place. Many great wolves are usually spotted and praised for preforming impressive tasks not in their field in this position.

Silk-Tail
- The common used term for 'pup', this is the position all pups under a 1-year-6-months are classed under, and remain to be the priority of the pack. They have little to no responsibility, and tend to roam freely around the den-site once they are old enough to respect their boundaries. As they reach the end of the Silk-Tail stage, pups are encouraged to shadow a few positions to gather an idea of what they may like to be. Their main purpose however, is to play and enjoy their pup-hood.
- You will be automatically sorted into this position if your wolf is 1-year-6-months and under.
Omega
- Wolves that are just joined, or loners, tend to fink themselves under this ranking. It is the lowest in the pecking order. They remain here for some time until the Alpha's find a suitable rank for them.
- Wolves are placed here if you have no rank preference, and a rank is chosen for you based on your character description

Multiplayer Sessions
- If most parties of the RP are able to attend Multiplayer, a multi-play session will be held on a private server every week, possibly more depending on attendance. I understand places are limited, but a time will be set, and a private server will be set up for use of everyone. All members that can access multiplayer will be given a Login and Password that must remain in the pack unless authorised by the Alpha's.
