Okay, umm... I hate to be the only person asking all these questions, but does my username have to be my character's name? Cuz it says Ruddy is taken. Or can I make the username whatever and change the displayed name? I'm very unfamiliar with Forumotion. I've always used proboards.

Forumotion tends to say some names are taken even when they're not. You should be able to change it, and if you can't, an admin can, so you should be good to register with whatever name Forumotion lets you.
