Skybreaker is correct on both answers. There is absolutely no restriction on what gender your character can be. Different from your own gender irl, trans, non-binary, whatever you want. I'm not sure why there would be a restriction on it, is that something you've seen on other sites? I find that concept really confusing, honestly.
The only restrictions on poetry and song are that they do not go against the rules in any way, so basically the same restrictions as any other aspect of your pack. It'd be quite interesting to see a pack that includes something of that sort imo, I don't think I've seen it before.

^ Thank you, Katserin. If you'll recall, under 2.5 you could only make a multi-player character who had the same gender as the one listed on your forum profile. Better safe than sorry.

Depends on what sort of pack you're looking for. You are allowed to join as much packs as you can keep up with, so join those you like the most! Hope this was helpful!

We do not assist users with finding a pack. If you are interested in joining a pack, check to see how active the pack is before you join and how frequently members of the pack post either here or off-site. Most packs here are inactive, and finding out which packs are active will help you come to a decision more quickly.

Say I made a pack some time ago but it died out. Will I be able to make a new thread like a "reborn" version of it? The pack itself wouldn't be the same, however - it would have a different leader, a completely different website, etc.

Yes, people do that all the time; just make sure the old one is locked.

Applications vary depending on the pack, they are often located around the bottom of the post and they usually have you copy the form and fill it out to post on their thread. Not every pack follows the exact same procedures, though, so make sure you see how the pack you want to join handles it.

I know it's probably a question i should know the answer too, but how do i make a pack? I'm very confused and i didn't see it in the pack FAQ.

The same way you make any thread - click the new topic button at the top of Pack Central and begin creating your pack's thread. There's nothing special that you need to do, just make sure your pack and its thread follows the general forum and PC rules. What you include in your pack's thread and how you run the pack is all up to you.
I'll add a FAQ entry for that, too. I thought it was already there, but it looks like it was missed. Sorry about that!

what is the topic for all rp, but not a pack? Like where you don't have to be in a pack but still can rp?
