Whoops. Forgot about this.
I may revamp the first post soon. Make it easier to follow and whatnot since it is a few years old. I will also absolve all critiquers and helpers of their duties. Ain't nobody got time for that, but I will keep the forms up so anyone can help or critique from now on.

Is Wordpress good to use for a Pack site?? That's the website I use, and I don't want to use another site that I don't understand.

Wordpress is exception. Really, any type of website make is good just depends how you, the creator want to use it.
A lot of users here use forumotion, though, as it was first used when packs were first created. Hope this was helpful!

Directions: admin panel/users and groups/user options then mark the activation for user activation which they would need to sign up with a valid email address. Otherwise you dont really sign up "automatically". Hope this helps!

I can answer your first question but the second I have no idea, I think you better read the regulations of Forumotion.
1st Re: can't separate the categories physically, but maybe give it to create a blog on the forums, but I do not know how to do it.

1. If you mean by separate categories as in separate forums, then try doing this:
Admin panel/Display/Structure and Hierarchy/
You'll see all of the different displays for categories in there when you scroll down.
2. Strong most likely used his own coding, but if you mean a general announcement table, go here:
General/Messages and emails/Announcements
Create your own "Plate" there!

There are many ways to put music on your forum. Depending on what you like, here are a few guides on the many ways you can do this.

Blogs can be a very helpful tool for packs around here. You can use it to post updates about the pack, or for members to post what their wolf is doing or even for members to speak what they are doing outside of the site in their lives. It can be a very fun tool to get your members involved! Maybe even use it for your members to create a weekly newsletter!
