We follow an activist, a hunter, and a biologist as they navigate a volatile controversy surrounding a tract of land adjacent to Denali National Park—a struggle between fur trappers and wildlife activists, state and federal authorities, and conflicting views about the role of wild places in America.

"The Good Wolf" (working title) is an upcoming documentary film project featuring the wolves of Denali, whose situation reflects a larger theme of the political and cultural issues surrounding the management of wild spaces. The filmmakers are currently seeking funding for speeding up production, if you'd like to help out.
