The saying “opposites attract” rings true with this unusual friendship, as a female grey wolf and a male brown bear have developed a very rare bond.
The pair’s uncommon friendship was captured in Finland by wildlife photographer Lassi Rautiainen. The two animals appear to be inseparable, even when it comes time to hunt; Rautiainen’s photos confirm that the wolf and bear even hunt and share their meals together.

This is truly amazing! I've known if tigers and wolves in captivity do this and domestic dogs with wild deer but I've never known a pair of purely wild animals do such a thing!

That's so cool~ I didn't know that could happen. It says rare but yeah its still cool. They share their meals and everything which is probably the biggest shocker for me but eh they look happy and cute together.

Huh, interesting to see how they developed some sort of symbiosis. I wonder if they'll keep that going at an older age? It made for some unique and interesting photographs, at least!
