Flight of the White Wolf by Mel Ellis

I didn't notice topic about this - but if it exists, please correct me.

"Russ Clagg has had Gray as a pet wolf for seven years. But then, Gray gets loose and kills Bo, a champion show dog. Russ sets off in pursuit of his fleeing pet and begins a dangerous journey as he risks his life to save his pet from capture and death."
Copied from goodreads.com (http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1328 ... White_Wolf)

That probably won't say much about the book, but it gets more exiting when the plot developes. I myself have read this book when I was at elementary school and it got me. Though "White Fang" by Jack London may be more dear to me, this is worth reading if you happen to like stories like that.

And yes; there is also anime movie based on this book - "White Fang"/"Hashire! Shiroi Ôkami".
