the movie was no where near as good nor as detailed as the book. There are major plot and character changes in the movie...its a disapointment in my opinion. Though I am looking forward to the animated movie coming out of White Fang.

the book version or the movie version? I liked them both equelly. But White Fang seemed...more raw and savage than call of the wild. It was also a more uplifiting end,
SPOILER ALERT

...with White Fang`s pup coming to greet him from his trip at the vet.

SPOILER

consdering Buck`s human dies a gruesome death before is eyes, and how the dog turns wild and savage and kills native americans...it seems a bit, err unfullfilling. The ending suited the book perfectly well, but I always felt sorry that Buck lost the only human he ever really trusted.
