It's prounouced "Foe-lan." I tried to get my mom to say it that way but she just won't say it the right way!

Ok guys, I have news, and I didn't have time to check the posts and see if anyone else has announced this.

The 4th book is coming out December 1st, 2011. It's called "Frost Wolf", heres the preview:
Faolan has always been an outsider. Exiled as a pup, then shunned by his fellow wolves for his unusual connection to the bears, Faolan has struggled to earn a place in the pack. But a terrible danger is looming on the horizon, and Faolan is the only one who knows how to fight it. Will he be able to claim his rightful place as leader? Unless Faolan can inspire the pack to stand together, it could be the end of the wolves of the beyond.
EDIT: Some people did. And I did to. Lupus, I'm such an idiot sometimes  . Well nobody posted the preview though...
Also I got the preview from the Wolves of the Beyond Wiki if you were wondering.

Sounds good... Grr... my mom says I can't get it the day it comes out. She says I have to wait until Cristmas for it. If I get it then I'll probably be busy with the video games I know I will be getting  . Oh well, at least there's hope for me getting the fourth books of the Inheritance Cycle, Inheritance, when it comes out.

Haha, I think that one was a side effect of writing so many owl books. In the Guardians books "gizzard" replaced "marrow." It made sense in the books, but she really overuses that phrase. xD

Anyways, I really want to read these. The parts of the books with the wolves were often my favorites. Not for the simple reason that they're wolves but she made such amazing characters out of them and interesting traditions that made sense and were very well thought out. They made the books more exciting when the whole "owls fighting the evil owls" thing got old.
If you guys haven't the the GoG books yet you really should. Not only because they're amazing, but the later books involve the wolves. Wolves of the beyond is based entirely on what she created with the books before it. ^^

Do any of the characters come back in the books? I recognize the name of the Macheath clan, but apart from that I'm lost. And do the gnaw wolves have any part in the story?

I thought it was really good, and the characters were very strong, even though it kind of seems like the animals are from some type of weird parallel universe or something. XD

I, love this book. I do agree with Alpha Female, though. I've also memorized the date that the fourth one comes out (december first)

 Eeek this post got pupular...(get it? PUP-ular?)
I have all three books that are out, and we (Me and my sis) are waiting for the fourth one. This series is just so good, with all the traditions and legends. The part that really got me in the third book was Cags. How can any animal live with rabies that darn long?!
Sunlight.
Stardust.
Aqua.
The three phoenixes, their powers unmatched, of fire, ice, and water.

Lone Wolf is 1. and i cant wait for the fourth, frost wolf to come out

i found out about the fifth in the series heres the description

Faolan, a wolf once doomed to die, struggles to fufill his destiny as the leader of the wolves of beyond.
No one ever saw Faolan as a leader. Banished as a pup, he survived and returned as a gnaw wolf-the lowest member of the wolf pack. But Faolan wasn't meant to be a gnaw wolf. It's not just his strange, splayed paw, or his uncanny connection with the bears. There's something about Faolan that inspires certain wolves . . . and leaves others deeply suspicious. Now, with a dangerous threat on the horizon, the pack must make a choice. Will they trust the silver outsider with the task of leading? If Faolan can't fulfill his destiny, it could be the end of the wolves of the beyond.
