A Wolf to Remember vs The Wolves of Time

Post by pawnee » Thu Nov 22, 2007 7:41 pm

Firstly, A Wolf to Remember is by a young teen living in Canada and The Wolves of Time is by an older amn in Europe. But I bought both books and I found them very similar; for instance each lone wolf is called a vagrant and has certain rules about looking back at a old pack. Both deal with a wolf being called to serve her/his gods and become something far greater than any wolf while being harassed by human beings. Both novels also take place in the distant future of a corrupt civilization. While both seemed similar, I liked A Wolf To remember far better. The animal acts like an animal while retaining a human like character and she can actually communicate with the super naturaul. I found The Wolves of Time rather borring, and the wolves were like people in a soap opera. William`s wolves also swore, went crazy and took advantage of each other which destroys any animalistic nature the author intended his characters to retain. any comments about either book?

In Canada search Chapters.ca, in America search Amazon.com. They are there but A wolf to remember is the lesser known one.
