Re: Favorite wolf lore?
-shakes- head, never mind...its all wolven lore right? -is really tired-
The beast that holds you over the raging inferno,
Much as one holds a spider,
Or some loathsome insect over the fire,
ABHORS You...
Her wrath towards you burns like fire;
She looks upon you as worthy of nothing else,
But to be cast into the fire.
Much as one holds a spider,
Or some loathsome insect over the fire,
ABHORS You...
Her wrath towards you burns like fire;
She looks upon you as worthy of nothing else,
But to be cast into the fire.

Re: Favorite wolf lore?
if its folklore that has to do with wolves...thats wolven lore to me. -shruggs- guess it depends on your definition of it. I'm going with the very general one.

Re: Favorite wolf lore?
In Norse mythology, the giant wolf Fenrir was one of the trickster god Loki's monstrous brood. He was a wolf larger than a bear, and terribly strong. acording to the legend, Fnerir was so dangerous that the gods themselves decided to capture him, and had the dwarves make a rope out of the invisible things of the world. The god Tyr then distracted him so that the others could chian him against a great rock, but lost his hand in doing so. The gods succeded in binding fenrir, but it was said that he would break free to fight in the final battle of Ragnarock, the end of the world.

Werewolf fun facts: In the dak ages, the europeans thought that werewolves came about by someone eating wolfsbane (belladonna), being bitten by another werewolf, or forgetting to go to confession for seven years. Signs of bieng a werewolf were having rough skin, excess hair on the hands and feet, and a foul smell. Also, werewolf ledgends date back even to the ancient Romans.
