On Thursday, the Idaho Fish and Game Commission voted to deny a petition that would require trappers to post signs warning of active traps nearby — a move that the petitioners said would save dogs from being caught in traps, and which trappers argued would expose their trap lines to tampering.

Commentary: (Sharing from July Discord post) An interesting article from on trap warning signs from a local angle. I like this article because it includes perspectives from a variety of people, talks about trapping impacts on dogs and very clearly illustrates how wolves can be politicized
