Imported Isle Royale wolf makes return to mainland

This just keeps getting better and better. Who thought it was a good idea to spend 700k to import healthy, non-native (as coyotes, caribou, and lynx were there before) wolves with a homing compass to an isle where they've already become inbred? One wolf already died in transport. This one went back to the mainland. Like, I can't.

The National Park Service hopes to move 20 to 30 wolves to Isle Royale over several years.

This is honestly one of the funniest things I've seen recently. They dropped that wolf and it just went home LOL.
