When Matthew Simmons heard that the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife was moving forward with plans to kill an entire wolf pack after repeated attacks on livestock, he was incensed.
Simmons, who runs an animal rescue center in California that specializes in wolves . . . booked a flight to Washington on Tuesday in hopes of stopping the state from taking lethal action against the Profanity Peak pack.
