I would leave it alone (after taking a few photos from afar because wild wolf pups are rather rare). For all I know its parents could be lurking nearby or it could be old enough to be left alone. Besides the already-mentioned legal, social and financial issues for myself the pup would be better off without being socialized to humans. Besides, puppy teeth are sharp and parent teeth are even more so (if the parents chose to attack rather than flee). It would be awesome if I could call some biologists to radio collar it (since there's like what.. five wolves in my state?) but I doubt that would work out.

Night is now falling, so ends this day.
The road is now calling, and I must away.
Over hill and under tree, through lands where never light has shone.
By silver streams that run down to the sea.

I would probably shoot it, even if it seems cruel, better a good shot than a drunk neighbor running it over(I'm basing off of the wolves/coywolves in my area). There are about three houses out of twenty that has no livestock, and they have young children, so even if I called animal control or a wolf rehab by the time they get to it someone will have killed it, and, many of them would do it in a much more cruel way than shooting it and killing it immediately.

If I lived in town, I would probably call a wolf rehab, animal shelter, or animal control, while feeding it raw meet to keep it from running away, or I would find a non painful way to keep it from escaping.

Wolves don't live in my area, so I suppose I'd have to call animal control or the police or something to relocate it.
we are not history yet.
we are happening now.
how miraculous is that?

This is difficult. It's easy to say but do at that moment aren't so simply..
Well, maybe.. First I would look around is the pup alone. If it is, I would stay with and call to police until I've got some counselor what to do next. If I had to, or the pup is injured in some way, I would take it to vet anyway. Anyway, I never would let a baby animal by itself.

I would call animal control, or I would ignore it and let it die, because its law of nature.

I would take pics first because it's adorable. Then I'd look for any sign of parents, if none, I will take it to a wolf care center.
Keep calm and love animals

I would recommend calling someone first rather than taking a wolf pup in your temporary care. ;)

I would leave it be until its parents came back. If they didnt, i'd call someone who is a pro at dealing with wolves so the pup can return home safely.

Depends on circumstance. if it's a reasonable age and appears uninjured or is accompanied by other pups better to not interfere. if it's too young to be by itself (until a certain age it's pretty odd for a wolf pup to be alone) and/or is injured i'd call the wildlife center or something and leave it to them. but even then i'd still observe the situation before doing anything. there's also the issue of the environment—if it was hanging around a neighborhood or something (as unlikely as that is... wolves don't normally hang around human-populated areas), regardless of other factors, i'd call someone to get it relocated

also i'd try to get a pic or two, but no touching and definitely no trying to take it in and care for it myself. that's just a bad idea

of course this is all hypothetical. i don't think wolves actually live in my state.

I would call a wildlife place that takes care of wolves. :wolf:
my favourite games on the computer are: WolfQuest, AnimalJam, Star Stable, howrse and all the dreamzer games.

My favourite books are: Warriors, The Wolf Chronicles, survivers and Spirit Animals.

I will be getting a horse in about 3 years and a half years. So excited!

Probably call animal control since we don't have wolves in my area, but not before taking pictures, of coarse.

If I saw a wolf pup, i would have mild concerns. There are no wolves or wolf like hybrids that are supposed to be living in Australia, only if they are registered, domesticated or are being used breeding purposes . If i saw a wolf pup in Australia, I don't exactly know what i'd do, i guess i'd call the animal control or take it to the vet to get it checked up?

First off I'd probably celebrate because I'm Californian and we're just now having wolves coming back to the state XD
Then I'd have to assess the situation, and if it looked like the parents legitimately weren't around or if the pup seemed to be in a precarious situation I'd call animal control and try to wait at a safe distance until they arrived. And of course take pictures-- always pictures, heh.

I'd firstly be super confused as to why there are wolves around Detroit... and then do as everyone else. Leave it, call it in, take pictures. Hopefully from the safety of a car or summat in case it's got parents lurking nearby.
