I have from a plane during a radio telemetry session at the IWC where we tracked wild wolves.

I think I saw one. I can't be sure because it scampered off and it was pretty far away so I'm not sure. From far away it looked like a huge black German Shepherd. At first I thought it was a stray dog, only we were skiing on Mount Knakiska and people don't bring their dogs there cause they are not allowed. Plus it's far away from any town or city so it's kind of hard to believe that a dog would end up all the way up there unless someone in a truck or something just dropped them off there. Plus it was bigger than a dog, it was pretty big and shaggy and it looked black. But it quickly ran off and I only got a moment to glimpse at it. Plus at the time my friend was with me and she saw two gray wolves slip into the bush later that day. She only saw half of their back end as they dissapeared into the bush but she was certain that they were wolves. Wolves on a busy skii hill! Cool huh? We told my dad but then he said he saw a unicorn so he didn't actually believe us. -_-

I dunno. I think I saw a wolf one time. It was night and down a rural road when I saw a black furry doglike animal running across a feild. It had the typical wolf lope but was bigger than a coyote or fox. I`m not sure if it was a feral dog or an actual wolf.

cool i really have seen a wolf in the wild and seen a mountain loin in the wild about 12 feet from me

No, I haven't. I camped in wolf territory so many times, but I have yet to see one. There cautious of people so I would imagine that they would stay away from the trails, but my dad doesn't like me wondering off, so I can never explore.

Im my backyard this wolf use to roam around...
We had to keep all the pets inside. It was really awesome to see a wolf for real

and there is the zoo but that doesnt count

I was not sure if it was a wolf or not. But it was too large to be a dog or coyote. We were driving by when I saw something black run through the field next to the road. But like I said not sure if it was actually a wolf though...

I haven't seen a wolf in the wild, but I've seen a Spanish wolf in a zoo.

I don't think I'll ever see a wolf in the wild soon, because there are none in Iceland and I'm not going to any foreign countries soon

I'd love too see one though

I would say its rare for most people to encounter a wild wolf...
