Can my pups die in the game?

Just like in the real wolf world, pups are not invulnerable to dangers and threats and can indeed die. Starvation, predators, and drowning are all threats to your pups, and pups do not respawn in the game like you or your mate does, so make sure to save the game often if you want to try to keep all your pups alive through the end of the game.
