The game keeps track of all the things your wolf has done within the game, so these numbers will go up as you play. However, your strength, speed, and stamina should not change in the game, though some people have seen a change in these numbers. This is just a glitch from the game, even though your stats change, your wolf will not improve its features during playing time. This glitch might be seen when you open a saved game, or when you spend time exploring around. You are not able to "train" your wolf in order to have better strength, stamina or speed (ex- if you run a lot, you will not improve your wolf's speed and stamina, or if you encounter wolves in the social arena and win, you will not improve your strength).
