Oh my gosh! That's so bad. I bet that dog hated being pink! I know I would...

I hate it when people do anything to their dogs, even sweaters.

Yeah, I know. >_> unless it's really cold and the dog is small and has short hair, it just serves no purpose. And what someone else said about these people calling their dogs their babies, I agree--would you seriously dye your baby pink?? It's rediculous!!

The poor kitties! Sorry, I've always had a soft spot of felines...

I'm actually not sure what you would use to permanently dye a dog a different color..

In my eyes,I find it ridiculous as well.I do not find it attractive. The dog is already beautiful, and you never know just what you're putting on your dog.

Yes I agree VERY INHUMANE.

Most dogs are very pretty, if you look at them in just the right way.

Well then, I have to say that dying your dog is not that huge of a deal. Yes sure, the chemicals, but if these people love thier dogs enough do you think they would risk harming them with possible deadly chemicals? I'd have to say no. They only do it for shows, and im sure it is easily removed from thier coats if they are buying the right product.
I duck love animals, and my own dog, and i would never colour them .. but i honestly don't see the big deal with it.
There is a charity in my town called the St.Valentine Hair Massacure, where people dye thier hair pink and shave it off while raising money, to support a cure for Cancer. The family who started this have a Standard Poodle and each year they dye thier dog from head to toe, pink. I know this family and they have told me that they use friendly chemicals .. which supports my eariler statement that people whould not risk thier animal's life over colour.
Now thats my two cents.

who in the world would dye there dogs/cats ect, its cruel, i love animals just the way they are
just because im different doesn't mean im a freak, it doesn't mean im creepy, im just different. Judge me for that and its your loss, because sometimes looks and what you like isn't everything.

I see no point in dyeing a dog or any animal for that matter. First, do you really think they like sitting for hours waiting for them to look different? No, it's plain cruel. Plus the harsh chemicals are a factor too (though if you use friendly chemicals; it's not as much big as a deal). Plus why would you want to dye your dog? They look beautiful on their own. They shouldn't be caring if they are pretty. It's like people now of days, they dye their hair because they don't like the color, have we really come to dyeing our dogs because we think it will look cute or whatever? If you want your dog to look like a panada or tiger or a turtle, adopt one at the zoo or a wildlife reserve and you can say I adopted that animal. If you dye your hair that's your choice but dogs can't speak for themselves and we have to make their choices for them. So please make the right choice for your dog!
