Yes, but I suppose if they were worldwide, it wouldn't be so special to see them. And people might hunt them more beacuse their population would be greater.

Re: Wolves in Scotland
It would be lovely to see wolves back in the British Isles <3 I think that it would greatly educate the people who live there about Wolves, To be honest I don't now why this wasn't thought of before I mean they brought back beavers and such so why not wolves?! But anyways if this does happen there will be quite alot of farmers upset my this since they want the best for their animals as well as wanting them to be safe and such but it would be lovely if they aprove of the idea of bringing back wolves =D!

Re: Wolves in Scotland
The farmers are against the idea because of their stupid sheep. If they cared about the ecolodgical balance of nature then they would approve. But they don't. So it is becoming an issue.

Re: Wolves in Scotland
I wish that farmers would approve of the idea of bringing wolves back, if they want to keep their animals safe they should create better protection for them such as tall fences and things. It would be nice to see wolves in Scotland, wild and free like they should be ^_^

Re: Wolves in Scotland
I agree.Wolves are a lot less abundant than sheep. And it is easy to keep a wolf away from sheep.

Re: Wolves in Scotland
It is very easy, but farmers say "I go to enough trouble already to keep other predetors away!". But they do not think how easy it will be!

Re: Wolves in Scotland
Yes, i hope i dont embarass Black Wolf Jet by saying this but hes a farmer in the Scotland regions, and the other farmers are furiuos that they could kill their live stock, long hard work, I understand them completely but could'nt you put extra protection even though it could spend more money?

Re: Wolves in Scotland
I pretty much understand what your saying there Lyenza ^^ They should create better protection for their animals if their worried about them getting eaten by wolves, even though it would cost extra money they'll earn it back anyway cause of their lifestock if you know what I mean. Anyways if wolves do come back to the British Isles I think that alot of people would understand and be more educated about wolves. Also people could learn so much more maybe they could even learn new things about them in how they behave and how they live as packs.

Re: Wolves in Scotland
Mmm hmm. And, if they do bring wolves back to Scotland, it will make more money out of tourism. I am going on holidiay to Scotland in the Summer and I am going to a Safari Wolf Enclosure. Its going to be great!

Re: Wolves in Scotland
Yes, I know which one you mean. I'm going there to some other time, and i understand Zarago by saying tourisom can bring more and more money to the villages and can help the farmers for more protections. And I understand Silver too. I love Wolves and i've always wanterd to touch a Wolf. I was reading an article about Villergers and wind terbines, even if it is good for the enviorment, they have they're reasons to stop it, (Illness's from it) and so can the farmers. I really hope it will happen.

Re: Wolves in Scotland
Yes, I do really wish they would bring them back. It would help the ecolodgical balance so much! And maybe even bring the 'Capercallie' back into a higher population rate.

Re: Wolves in Scotland
Really! Hmm, I like the Capercallie, I was talking to my teacher today and he said 'yeah, I think they're bringing something else into Scotland.....I wish the Bears where back!".....Intresting. I think to bring back Bears will go a bit over the top but it will help the food chain.
