Have you heard of Northwest Oregon and Washington Salmon? Well here in the Northwest we get an abundant amount of Salmon into the Columbia River which separates Oregon from Washington. When the Salmon come up river there are Fisherman and Dams, these are both major downfalls for Salmon survival, they have come up with fish ladders and limited fishing for the Columbia River.
What you can do for surrounding cities of the Columbia River to help the Salmon make their way up the river is:
-Use less Electricity, which causes less Dam usage allowing more Salmon by.
-Be careful with chemicals, chemicals such as fertilizers and detergent can harm fish.
-Talk to others, kindly convince others to do their part in saving these fragile swimmers.
Facts about Oregon:
-The Cascades of Western Oregon and the Blue Mountains of Eastern Oregon consist of abundant forest life such as, Elk, Deer, Wolves, Coyotes, and Rabbits.
-Portland, Oregon is doing a big part in keeping Oregon GREEN.
-Has the second largest National Forest in the United States, "Willamette National Forest."
Thank You.
