This is a really nice idea. Although we give ours to the local Faith Rescue Mission, this still is a great idea.

I'm glad that people are getting interested in this topic, though it's okay if you can't participate this time or maybe you already did. Congratulations to everyone that actually is thinking on donation some cloth or have good thought about it.

Where I live, we have a county cleanup day. Everyone in that county takes the things they call junk can send it off to places like Salvation Army or the like. Or they can get rid of it because it is broken. We send ours to different places like Salvation Army.

That's cool and very helpful, you can send your cloth in any time of the year?

No, it usually happens twice a year. In the summer and in the winter.

That's awesome, I'm glad you are helping.

I'm preparing for cleaning out my closet this month, hopefully I can take some pictures of it.

Coolio. That's great. :D I'm going to clean out mine this weekend. I can't get any pictures of it, but I noticed I really need to clean it up. I was on a rampage the other night trying to find my USB cabel for my camera and I told myself as I opened my closet full of stuff, "I must be an idiot if I threw it in here." lol. I went digging through it and found a bunch of things I'd been looking for. Horses that will complete my collection, video games for my Nintendo DS, all sorts of stuff. Then I looked up on a shelf after I felt defeated on finding it, there it was, practically laughing at me. I was happy and felt stupid at the same time. hehe.

Im mostly giving my old clothes to my little cousin, but some goes to organisations who are taking clothes.
And yes you do get smiles of both things :)
(Sorry for my bad English).

I know, I gave some of my clothes to my cousins, but since I'm too tall, the cloth I use won't be useful for them, same with other people, I make my little sister clean out her closet as well, there I can find more clothes than in my own closet.

I cleaned out my closet and got two big boxes full of clothes I don't wear/like anymore or that are too small for me, and I delivered them to the local Goodwill. My closet is so much more spacious now and cleaner, too.

Awesome Embry! I'll need to start those avatars for the people now or soon.

I'll organize myself and my family for cleaning out the closets, hopefully we are done by next week with everything prepared. I need to google for a organization in need now.

I think it's so cool so many of us are doing this!

I'm trying to force my older brother to clean out his closet as well, so we can get more stuff to send at Goodwill soon. My mom is doing the same, she is donating some of her things, too.

We already donated some of my old's mother clothes as well as some of my sister, but she says that she has way too small amounts of clothes as for to give to others, but that's not 100% true. My cloth is too big for giving it to others, but I give it anyways, some people are able to sell it to some open cloth markets and they earn some pesos.
