Give the birds a little helping hand ;D

Just an easy, effective, and quick way to help the small songbirds in and around your garden.
If you have a pet that sheds a bit of fur, or if you brush it and get some fur in the brush, then a helpful little thing to do for the birds is just collect it, then put it on a hedge or fence.
The birds will soon collect it and use it for nest-building.

It's just a little thing to do for the birds, especially around the nesting season (early spring-early summer).

We get these lil' songbirds in our garden alot. Fortunately, having a long-haired cat and three very fluffy german sheperd puppies means alot of shedded fur around our house/garden. It's easier to collect in the house because we can actually see it, so I'll leave my collections on the fence for these little guys to collect. Will that be alright for them? (^_-)

Lol, I always do that. I also crop a speciall grass birds love to eat. Well, actually my sister do this, but I help her. In winter time, we soak the old bread and put it on the garden, this way for the birds it's not difficult to find food. One day I will take pictures of it.

I have a long-haired cat as well. Plus, I have a dog, who moults a lot, he's a cross between a German Shepherd and a Collie. I think any type of fur or hair is fine for them (^_-)

That's a really cool idea! I never thought of that...

It's the time of year when my cats are shedding all their fur too!
