Build a Bat Box

Very cool. I would build one if it wasn't that our cat would eat the poor bat inside. At least we have some living in our rafters.

I wish I had seen this topic before I went to camp (bats flew around at night) I'm not entirely sure if I can build one at my house, though. I don't think my family fancys bats.

i dont like them much but ill give it a go i mean im scared of most like snakes and that but ill still try and save them not like most but ill have to build one when i can

Haha, I was just about to log off of WQ and go look up instructions for a bat box. Thanks for the link! I am currently trying to convert a backyard into a wildlife haven, this will help a lot. I can't wait to see what moves in!

Where I live, insects like mosquitos can be quite a nuisance because of the wetlands near my home. A bat box sure would help out^^ I'll have to see if I could make one before the summer.
