It's a great thing that bottle companies are doing this to help with the environment. Less plastic use in water bottles is a good way for them to help too.
I agree ^^ Well don't. Not drinking bottle water helps save one from the trash >.<

That's true, it does help. Though recycling the used plastic bottles instead of throwing them out also helps with it I believe. If you drink them anyways. Same with re-using the same bottle, instead of doing either you can use one bottle to store other drinks in.

I reuse and recycle my bottled water. But, if you reuse the bottle too many times, it'll cause health issues because the plastic (especially poor quality plastic) will leach into the water and can cause cancer.

I usually reuse each bottle a few times, though.

Yeah, I knew that happened.. I use the metal bottles anyway. They keep my water cool, I don't need plastic, they don't cause health problems, and they're refillable for a long time C:

Mhm, although I don't have any metal water bottles in my house. It'd be a good thing to try and get. We only have those re-usable plastic bottles, not the ones you get from buying store water though. My biology teacher said that the plastic can be toxic after a while, once the air gets to the inside of the bottle.

Well she's right. After a few months, they do get toxic.

That's good. ^^
I guess the real only "environmentally friendly" thing my family does is reuse water bottles and use energy efficiant light bulbs. Though I do believe the Earth is warming I don't believe in Global Warming. We are still in a "defrosting" stage from the last Ice Age >.>

Me and my parents accually find it annoying how teachers and school nowadays are "brainwashing" little kids and saying stuff on how you must recycle and such. It annoys me. Practically every show they watch either has an episode about it or has a message that the characters say about it...

Today I even saw a channel that's for little toddlers/preschoolers saying stuff about it.. I doubt they would understand much.

The whole topic troubles me greatly.

It sound a bit overboard, sure the whole "recycling thing" is really good. And good or the environment, though having it around almost constantly would, I agree, be rather annoying.
My family does do it, though we don't overly separate everything into different bins. Only have 2 actual bins... we use bags to actually hold the stuff. (it's easier)

Around were we live, everyone has to use a composter... it's a little "garbage can-like" contaner... and I don't really enjoy using it. (it doesn't smell very nice)
Although, I don't really know what we do with it once we need to empty it. I'm never around, though I think it goes in the garbage anyways. (Irony)
That, or it goes in a separate area.

Though, that is our towns way of "saving the environment" anyways. Which, I admit is good, though I've never been a big composter fan... neither has my family. Because it can cause all sorts of insects to come into the house.

We used to recycle... but we stopped years ago. When I asked my parents why they said why bother doing it if we have to pay to do it. And yes we were having to pay to recycle which I agree is a good enough reason to stop.

I also heard about this new "green car" that's out. It has a battery powered engine (or it was that it ran on hydrogen) But it would only go 40 miles before the battery died and it switched over to it's oil regulated engine. Yes... very green. :U

But it was either that "green" car or another one that is out. That also runs on hydrogen. It causes no emitions, because there is no fuel. And you could put you mouth on the exhaust pipe because all that comes out is water vapor. Plus, to fill it up it only costs $8. Not $8 a gallonm just $8 to fill the whole engine. (if I got this a bit off I'm sorry, just trying to remember what my dad said as he was explaining this to me).

But yes, I do find it very annoying how people are pushing this green thing so much.

Mhm...
The green car doesn't seem very green to me, I think my mom said that it wasn't very green one time as well. Since the mileage of the battery wasn't that long, if it was longer then I guess it could be called green.
The other one, to me, would sound better. If you are really dedicated to the whole "green" thing... then that would probably be a good car. Though, I think it could also be dangerous seeing as it's "hydrogen" powered. However, still sounds better to use then the other one.

Energy saving cars have their pros and cons, no doubt. Like, when you charge the battery, it takes up a lot of electricity..

That is true, and I agree. I use to have a "solar powered lamp" (it broke unfortunatly) and it would have to charge up during the day. If there was something like a cloudy day it would charge up.
So, they do have pros and cons I agree. Atleast they, try to, help the environment though and help with this supposed "global warming" thing.
