What computer do you have, and how well can it run Wolfquest 3, if at all?
I'm looking into buying myself something new, and I'm sure others here are doing the same, so I wanted to know what others had.

-Your Computer
Brand and model:
Laptop or Desktop?
CPU:
GPU:
RAM:
How old is it?:
How much did it cost?:
Additional info:

-Playing the Game
Can the title screen load?
Can game level load?
FPS on each graphics setting: (When on Amethyst Mountain)
Additional info:

-Overall
Score your computer's ability to run WQ3 from 0-5, 0 being completely incapable of starting the game and 5 being able to play on good or higher at 60+ fps.
Would you recommend a computer like yours to someone who was shopping for a new one?

Thanks! :D

I play it on a Acer Laptop that costs around $600.
Here are the specs,
Windows 10 Home.
Intel® Core™ i5-8265U processor Quad-core 1.60 GHz.
Intel® UHD Graphics 620 shared memory.
14" Full HD (1920 x 1080) 16:9 IPS.
8 GB, DDR4 SDRAM.
256 GB SSD.
My computer is refurbished so I dont know the age.
Everything loads just fine and I don't have TOO much lag.
I would rate my game play of wq3 on this computer a five because I think that every device will lag on this game a little. (except for the developers?)
I dont know much about the fps for each setting but mine seems to do well with the fantastic setting on.
I would recommend this computer to a shopper because of its cheap price and its compatibility for gaming.

Operating System: Windows 10 Home
Brand: Dell
Platform: Desktop
CPU: Intel Core i3-3220 CPU @ 3.30GHz, 3300 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 4 Logical Processors
GPU: NVIDIA GTX Geforce 1050 Ti
RAM: 16GB

Worst thing I have is storage (only 100GB free or so) but that can be expanded with extra drives in the future. It is also a refurbished model so I do not know the exact age, but as an i3 system, it's likely not super recent.

It cost me about $350 or so as a purchase from Ebay, though it's likely actually less than that.

Playing the Game
Can the title screen load? Yes.
Can the game level load? Yes.
FPS on each graphics setting: I can run the game at 44-62 FPS (depending where I'm at it drops to 44 or sticks around 60) on customized Fantastic settings (preferential changes, like 2D clouds instead of 3D etc). Lower settings run the same or run better. Higher than Fantastic gives me a warning for crashing.

I'd recommend if anyone were to buy a computer like mine to just save up more and get something better (get an i7 and something with better storage capacity).

-Your Computer
Brand and model: Windows 10
Laptop or Desktop? Desktop
CPU: IDK
GPU: Invidia? Invideo? one of those
RAM: I can't seem to get a straight answer out of mom.
How old is it?: About three or four years.
How much did it cost?: I remember it was a bit more than 500  But mom didn't buy all the parts, so the cost was cut down a bit.
Additional info: It was built, but the parts were bought.

-Playing the Game
Can the title screen load? Yes!
Can game level load? Yes!
FPS on each graphics setting: (When on Amethyst Mountain) Usually around 50-70 FPS rate, even with all the graphics turned up as high as can be
Additional info: Ever since the latest patch(es), it will. not. stop. CRASHING!
Edit: I opted out of beta and now it crashes far less.

-Your Computer
Brand and model: Custom Build
Desktop
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700 CPU @ 4.20GHz
GPU: GeForce GTX 1080
RAM: 16 GB DDR4
How old is it?: Hard to say. Some parts are about 5 years old, some are newer.
How much did it cost?: Around $1,500
Additional info: Things like cost and age are hard to calculate because it's been added onto over the years.

-Playing the Game
Can the title screen load?
-Yes.
Can game level load?
-Yes
FPS on each graphics setting:
Each benchmark is taken from the starting area, the FPS may get better or worse in other areas of the game.
Fastest(In Menu): 214 fps
Fastest(In game): 160 fps
Fast(In Menu): 174 fps
Fast(In game): 138 fps
Good(In Menu): 74 fps
Good(In game): 72 fps
Beautiful(In Menu): 64 fps
Beautiful(In game): 61 fps
Fantastic(In Menu): 59 fps
Fantastic(In game): 57 fps
Glorious(In Menu): 48 fps
Glorious(In game): 46 fps

Note: The 'Double Shadow Distance' option did not seem to impact performance.

Additional info: The game is running at a resolution of 1440 x 2560. If the resolution was lowered, this would increase performance anywhere from 5 - 10 fps.

-Overall
Score one 0-5: 4 or 5 depending on the game area.
Would you recommend a computer like yours to someone who was shopping for a new one?
-No. I'd recommend you start off a bit cheaper and look towards a more modest build. PC parts picker has a few helpful guides to get someone started if you think you're up to building your own. It's fun, like really expensive Legos!. Here's a link to a build that I think would play the game reasonably well:

https://pcpartpicker.com/guide/G4V323/m ... ming-build

Note: Prices during the COVID-19 pandemic are fluctuating like crazy, and if you plan on buying a machine, I'd check back regularly for price drops. If you can, I'd wait till the majority of this blows over and the economy gets back to a somewhat stable state.

I play on a CPU computer, here are my specs:
Brand and model: The GLab (brand)
Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 1699 Six Core
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
Motherboard: Gygabyte GA-AB350-Gaming 3
RAM: 16 GB
OS: Windows 10 home (64 Bit)
How old is it? I got it in 2017, so 4 years old.
How much did it cost? To be honest, I don't remember.

-Playing the Game
Can the title screen load? Yes!
Can game level load? Yes!
FPS on each graphics setting: (haven't measured).
Wolfquest 3 runs great in the highest quality settings, with some slight fps drops in multiplayer. I chalk it up to the WiFi. I always play WQ3 on fullscreen and with the keyboard.

Wolfquest 2.7 runs fine on the 60 fps setting and in the "Beautiful" graphic setting. I prefer to play WQ 2.7 on windowed, and with the keyboard.

CPU: Ryzen 5 3600x
GPU: RX 5700 XT
RAM: 16 GB
How old is it?: About 1 year now
How much did it cost?: I'm not actually sure but it was defiantly around the 1k figure
Additional info: N/A

-Playing the Game
Can the title screen load? Not sure what this means but I guess?
Can game level load? Again, do not know, if someone can explain what "load" means (pc wise)
FPS on each graphics setting: Each setting is avg 60-80 fps...I play atm custom glorious and that runs at 75fps, it runs at 90fps sometimes but I capped it at 75 because my monitor is only 75Hz. Sometimes there are spikes here and there, it does go down from 75 to 20 depending on where I am in the map but other than that, it's good.
Additional info: N/A

-Overall
Score your computer's ability to run WQ3 from 0-5, 0 being completely incapable of starting the game, and 5 being able to play on good or higher at 60+ fps.
I score my PC: 5
Would you recommend a computer like yours to someone who was shopping for a new one? Yes, but maybe try to get a cheaper GPU, say maybe an RX 5500 XT or RX 580...I'm not really tech-savvy, I had A LOT of help with finding good parts/researching, etc.
