Hello there! I am very excited since wolfquest 3 was released. However, I have an issue on running the game smoothly. I did some research and found out that it's mostly because of my bad graphics card.
https://support.wolfquest.org/help/grap ... quirements
"Score above 8000: high graphics quality settings at 40-60 FPS or better.
Score 4000 to 8000: medium quality settings at 30-50 FPS.
Score 2000 and 4000: lower graphics quality levels at 30-40 FPS.
Score 1000-2000: low quality levels, possibly using "Basic" graphics which lack some of the fancy effects like snow on trees.
Score under 1000: the game may not run at all, or only at the lowest graphics quality with reduced screen resolution."
My graphics card is intel hd graphics 4000 and it has a score even lower than 500. Ouch...
I will probably need a better graphics card. But I am looking for a more affordable one since I don't have a lot of money. I want my game to run at least at 30fps (score 2000 and 4000 but maybe score 4000 and 8000). If anyone knows good graphics card that can run the game at that speed but aren't way too expensive (They will be probably expensive, but I'm looking for something not too overpriced) please comment! I really want to enjoy playing wolfquest 3.
Looking for good graphics cards...
Re: Looking for good graphics cards...
You mentioned an integrated graphic card which indicates that you have a laptop. Not all laptop manufactures supports discrete graphic cards installment or replacement.
If you have a PC then I will suggest 1050, 1050ti, 1060 and 1650 from Nvidia or 570, 580 from AMD graphic cards because they are still powerful enough to run game pretty smooth(check their score) and they have good proportion of quality\price. Also their price have lowered since release of new series of graphic cards

A lot of laptops have non-replacable graphics cards, so an external setup (at least an additional $200) would be required.
