I was looking through old topics and I discovered that a user could request a username change at one point in time. I'd love to see this option available again! I realize the last administrator put an end to this feature because she didn't have the time to continue changing usernames. This kind of ties in with the "more administrators" idea, but perhaps it could be brought back if there were enough people to activate new usernames. There could even be one shared e-mail for this purpose, perhaps something like namechange@wolfquest.org. Sorry if this is too far-fetched to be considered. ^^;

I'm only adding on to another suggestion that has already been made, but why not have a large archive section for board-wide use? It could include subforums for old threads in each individual forum. So in theory, there would be the forum "Archives" and subforums under it like "WolfQuest General Discussion" (etc). Or an archive subforum could be add to each forum. That would be one way to keep things from getting too cluttered.

As a side-note, something similar was run in the past as part of the Newbie-Teacher program, though it wasn't ever a standalone usergroup and appears to have been discontinued; whether temporary or permanent, I can't answer. ^^; Interest and activity may be a factor as well...

Newbie Messengers:

A Newbie Messenger is a person who PMs people who are new to the game/forums and invites them to this topic. The newbie messengers have assigned days and must PM at least a couple people every week.
We are currently not doing this

I think there should be a place to discuss User Guides, perhaps one in that board, the only none locked topic.

Also, maybe there should be a official avid drawer because of all the shops I went to, only one, a year ago, actually filled out my order, Thanks Tapir. I've tried three other shops.

That's not a problem with the forums, its with the people running the shops. If we had one person doing it all.. dang, I'd feel so bad for them.

• I proposed an avatar recycling topic a while ago (http://www.wolfquest.org/bb/viewtopic.p ... g#p2145116), but there was no active interest. See the reasonings on the topic itself. Basically, if was to happen, it would take two to tango: the artist and the requester. And perhaps that's just too much effort... but hey, the idea is there if anyone decides to pick it up.

Got three more suggestions that could possibly be considered, but they’re largely dependent on an administrator, one of them being particularly popular but purely the webmaster’s decision.

• - Couple more BBcodes, if possible: Spoiler and sub-script.
  - Wolf smilies.
  - More special, earnable/exclusive or awarded user ranks, similar to the top elk hunter rank.

The wolf smilies could be a bit complicated, but they'd fit the bill nicely considering wolf smilies are pretty popular over on the “if you were in charge of WQ” thread. I downloaded some ages ago and best of all, they're free-use.

I could make the wolf smilies. I don't think they will be too hard. I would just need the desired size, and a guarantee that my work would be used on the site.

I'm at a friend's house all week so I don't know what I can do for now (I don't know when I'll be back) but I can try to do some simple ones when I get back that mimic the ones we have currently, just with wolves. Any desired fur colors anyone would like to see?
