WolfQuest Roleplay Thread

Alright, you've asked for it... let's see how it works. This is an experiment that I'm making on a total whim to see how allowing roleplay in this thread only would work. This topic will allow totally- or semi-realistic wolf-related roleplay (including *emoting*) unless I hear it causes problems in other topics. This is the only topic roleplay will be allowed in the forums... and we'll see how it works. Okay, ready? Go.

*Wonders and slightly dreads what this will lead to... ears go back and a worried look shows on her face... wags her tail nervously* (Gotta start off with something, right?)

What is allowed:
- Abiding by the usual WolfQuest Forum Guidelines when roleplaying: http://www.wolfquest.org/bb/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=20100
- Characters that are wolves (any species of wolf will do. Maned wolves are not actual wolves. Because this in a more modern setting and for ease of roleplaying, extinct species/subspecies of wolves are not allowed.)
- Unnatural markings, patterns, coat colours, and eye colours *within reason. Ask a moderator if you are unsure.
- Unrealistic hierarchies (alphas/betas/omegas, kingdoms, etc.)
- Roleplaying with your pack on this thread, provided everything in your pack meets the Rules of Pack Central thread (http://www.wolfquest.org/bb/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=75062)

What is not allowed:
- Mates and mate-related content
- Fantasy content (magic, powers, wings, horns, etc.)
- Religious content (including Bora Bora, spirits, legends, and other religious beliefs or aspects)
- Extremely violent or unreasonable wolf behavior (e.g. roleplaying a wolf character who tries to kill other characters)
- Roleplaying as animals that are not wolves or are fictional (including other canines such as maned wolves, coyotes, dogs, etc., as well as werewolves)
- Bringing humans into the roleplay thread.

A black female wanders into the thread, tilting her head curiously at the experiment. She always assumed it was a experiment that would never happen.. quite a curious thing that it was being attempted now. She sits and looks at the others, observing them, watching what they do. So far, they had a different method of participating than she, and the female wondered if that particular style would be the "normal" thing for the thread. Of course, it didn't make sense for her to know of the experimental thread, but it was easier for her creator - that she also shouldn't be aware of - to assume she did. She sighed, realizing her thoughts weren't really making much sense. This was just life for her, right? Or was it all.. something that wasn't life? It didn't really matter, though. The wolf pondered the thread she shouldn't know about, wondering if there were rules on realism. None had been mentioned, but it could have been overlooked..

*Barks* This looks like an interesting experiment... Wolf-related roleplay only, I assume? *Howls and wags tail, curious to see what will come of this*

*Starts wagging tail and attempts to get a game of tag going*
