Your Favourite Weather Features in WolfQuest

Post by Masika » Thu Oct 06, 2011 10:16 am

So, I'm curious, with the release of 2.5 which includes weather features, what are your favourite weather features in the game?

Feel free to list as many of your favourites as you want (or simply say that you like all of them!).

I'd personally say that my favourites are snow and rain C:

Hmm, while I was playing it didn't rain yet, as I didn't get to play for very long... But I think my favorite has to be the snow. ^^ I love the combination of the snow on the ground, the realistic river rushing and the little snow that's actually falling. Looks even better at night too. :D

So far i've only come across the snow and rain details. :) I love the snow, the little snowflakes like so cool, and leaving pawprints is fun too. ^-^

I like rain but find it a little glitchy. The blue background fog thing kind of tends to be set on the screen, and so if i'm going down a slope it tends to disappear. But other than that I love it! :D It looks so real!

Oh when i started playing it rained almost instantly.
and a lightning struck a tree as well! lol i went close to see what happens, but i didnt reach the fire. it was so realistic though. the sound was amazing. i simply sat down in front of it and watched it until it went away.
So i like storms for sure.
my 2nd (or first - cant decide) is snow!
when i entered slough creek, i run circles with my mate, leaving foot prints (so sad for me that they vanish so soon). The snowing was amazing as well. when i entered the game, it didnt do so yet, then when i was at the river, i was surprised, and sat there watching it.

I can't choose! They all look so awesome! I also like the lightening. :D But sadly, I haven't seen it up close, but oh well!

Anyway, if I had to choose, I would take forever deciding. I love them alll! 8D

Definitely the lightning for me, it looks amazing and sounds so realistic - definitely worth the money we managed to raise.

I liked the snow the best, and goofing off when it's snowing in multiplayer is pretty fun!

I haven't seen lighting yet, but I saw everything else. And I love it! I think my favorite is the snow :D The fire was cool too.

When I first downloaded the game, I was like, "RAIN ALREADY!"
I got my wish. When I was in Specimen territory, the game slowed down for half a second and it rained! And lightning struck behind me (I'm thinking, "Where's the tree on fire? I want to die via lightning!")...and then after five seconds of raining, it stopped and the forecast called for sunny days all the year long.
Then i found a glitch where I can't save the game, so I got bored and went onto Slough Creek with Ember. The second the game loaded my eyes bugged out, "WHOA!!"
I must say, snow is beautiful. Especially if I'm running near Old Oxbow and it starts to snow. I like to lay down and watch it, with my mate standing behind me, looking out for me.
I kept thinking I heard jingle bells...reminds me of Christmas.
I turn the music up
I got my records on
From underneath the rubble, sing a rebel song
