How long did it take for you to get a mate in Singleplayer?

Post by wolfluver86 » Wed Jun 15, 2011 9:27 am

I've been always wondering this question. How long did it take for YOU to find a mate in Amethyst Mountain. I remember on my first WolfQuest game, it took me three weeks just to find a mate, lol. Yes, I was counting. So how long did it take for you to get a mate? On my new files, it usually takes me a few days or even a few hours.

My first time playing I didn't understand that you had to go to all three territories to get Dispersal wolves to spawn, so I was walking around for ages. xD I don't remember how long it actually took me though. ^^'
Nowadays it takes me about 15 - 20 minutes to find a mate, unless I'm picky and want my mate to have a certain pelt color.

My first time I think it took me about 3 hours xD
Now, depending on how fast my wolf is, it takes around 10 minutes.(unless I use the exp glitch, then a bit longer)
You can lead a horse to water, and you can lead a horse into water, and you can swim around with the horse and have fun.

My first game, it took me about... 3 days. I had know Idea about the grassy plains pack, and I hunted in the burn for a day before finding the first pack. Now it takes me about 5 - 20 minutes tops, and 15 - 30 mins If I'm looking for a certain coat color.

The first time, it took me five hours to finish, and I refused to get off of the computer until I had found a mate. I didn't know there was a map option until Slough Creek came out a week later, so I ended up wandering around in circles thinking, Just stay on the left side, you'll be fine. When I finally found the second wolf pack, I whooped for joy and scared my mom to death. XD Nowadays, it takes me twenty minutes max to find a mate. If I want a specific fur color, I use a handy little cheat, and it only delays me by seconds.

My first time took several hours, though I'm not sure exactly how many. I didn't know you had to visit all three territories before you could even begin searching, and afterwards I didn't understand that your mate could only be a dispersal. I spent so much time trying to woo the pack wolves. XD

Now it takes 10-15 minutes, depending on how picky I'm feeling about the coat color.

About 5-10 minutes, once you figure out how to get them to appear. :P

I'm fairly effecient nowadays, I know exactly where wolves spawn in each territory, and avoid the pack wolves. It's only if I'm trying out pup colour combinations or something of the like that I choose a particular dispersal. So, it only takes me a few minutes, usually.

The first time I played, I roughly understood the part where you have to go to each territory before the dispersals will begin to appear. I was so ecstatic the first time I found a wolf that could be my mate, I raced through the talking sequence and recieved my mate c: That took about an hour or two.

It took me about thirty minutes to go to each territory, but I found a mate in about 2 minutes. I got lucky, huh? :P

The first time I played WolfQuest, it took a few days since dispersal wolves were common and I wasn't picky. I chose the first dispersal male I saw.

Now, I can get a mate within an hour or less.
