What type of breed and color is your mate on WQ?
My mate was a Druld and he was a nice dark black color

Mine was a specimen, and he was a beautiful shade of white.

I have so many saved game files, but most of my mates turn out to be a mixed brown or a gray-white mix.
Also, the different 'types' of wolves that you see in the game {Specimen, Druid, Slough, etc.} are not really breeds {the species of wolf in the game is the gray Mackenzie Valley wolf}, simply the pack {which are real-life packs, actually} they belong to. ;) Besides, the game requires you to find a dispersal for a mate since wolves do not take mates from other packs, hehe.

Most of my mates have been a shade of silver or a dusty-gray.

My mate is a silver white and a Mackenzie Grey Wolf. I found him in the Amethyst Mountain pack.

Whenever I have started a new game, I have always tried to find a mate that is either brown or with the orange colouring.
As they are all named dispersal, I don't really take note of what territory I am in, but I think the druids is the one I have been to more often.

MY mate is a male wolf from the Slough Pack he is a mixed of white, gray and brown im currently doing the journey again and my mate will carry one of the pup and they are all still alive!! 
He also like to hunt but i have to stay in the same spot to wait so he can feed the pups. I love my mate!!
