I love AM, but I think that everyone goes to Slough Creek is because it's more green and there's WATER. I LOVE SC because of the river [loves green, lush places with water. I love playing around in areas like that <3]

I like AM too, and I'm going to go there more because of the weather in 2.5. Just think of what it'll be like with day, night, and things like fog. It'll be even more mysterious. O_O

I'm hoping that the weather might have temperatures as well along with rain. That way if it's warm and it rains then the area of Amethyst mountain would come to life a little bit. All I know is that if "Dry Creek" wasn't so dry and if AM was more green then I'd definitely play there more.
I like discussing deep things, playing video games, and mentally torturing myself by studying C# even though I'm not a math person.

Also, In one forum someone said something about caves at Lamar overlook... mind filling me in about that?

Poor AM... that place has been so under-rated since Slough Creek was released. It's so big and thrilling there, I'll go onto single-player and start a new game just because I love the sensation of being there. <3 I live to explore Amethyst Mountain. Live.

I love how mysterious it is in AM too.
I was in a fun RP today there. I didn't know the dry creek
was so lush at the beginning of it! There are trees and grass. :D
That goes to show you that its not just a dry, boring place (Though Douglas Fir could use some touching up ^^)
Im sure WolfQuest 2.5 will bring everyone to AM.
I can't wait for rain and snow! :)
Caves in Lamar Lookout? I heard that too. Im going to explore it
for a few minutes right now.

Edit: hmm.... they aren't black.... it must have been a glitch or something.... sorry my bad :( gosh i thought there was really tar pits. sorry

Yeah, Its A Glitch, You Have To Turn Off Or On Your Shadows Or Fancy Water, Or Move The Grass Or Terrain Distance. Then It Turns Blue.

Yeah, AM is mysterious. I remember once I was heading to the Burn to hunt, and I passed through this one area between the Burn and the Douglas Fir. There was a hare, and when I killed it and ate it, another appeared. It kept going on like that, and it still does sometimes. I think it might be a glitch.

I will forever regret saying this: I go on SC more then AM. But only because Slough Creek has a million billion killion Kabazillion chats to choose from while Amethyst Mountain has like, one or two chats.

I love AM! I go explore it almost every day, and I go find the Moon tree (even though its not really the moon tree anymore) and go look at the view from Lamar overlook.

I personally do really like Amethsyt Mountain, though I do like Slough Creek equally. I don't a specific favourite between the two. Between multiplayer and single player, it does sort of vary.

Single Player:

This is definitley one of the points where I love to be in Amethsyt Mountain, partly because there isn't so much to be held up with (e.g. puppies), even though it can be fun to deal with this sort of thing. Though it does mean that you do have more time to explore the map rather than in Slough Creek. Also, I like it because its easy to know your way around the map, its quicker to learn about (though it is pretty much easy to learn about both maps though). I've actually found some short cuts (this is what I would call them anyway) to some of the wolf territories.

Multiplayer:

I prefer to be in Slough Creek here rather than Amethsyt Mountain, because there is much more to explore and find, considering the map is much larger in-game. Plus, Slough Creek does have rather more colour, so its nicer to play multiplayer with a sort of surrounding that Slough Creek has rather than a plain yellow sort of desert scene that Amethsyt Mountain has.

Overly, it is a shame that hardly anyone goes on AM anymore, there are one or two games there, but not as many a you tend to see in the Slough Creek area. I like to spend time in both areas, but like I said, I don't particularly have an overall favourite area.

That is a point, yes. Not everyone has discovered all the cool places in S/C yet, but I don't expect it will take long.

There was a glitch that made the top of the tree glow, and people called it the moon tree. It doesn't glow anymore, but people still call it the moon tree.
