Favorite place to get mate?

I usually go from territory to territory until I find a dispersal with a color that I think fits my own wolf. Usually it ends up being a Specimen

I tend to choose off story reasons, heh-- in my current playthrough there's been a lot of conflict with the Druids, so usually that territory gets skipped over I play generationally, too, so I'll often avoid specific territories if I know I just chose a mate from that one (example: the previous heir's mate was a former Druid, so for his heir we completely skipped over that territory). Of course, that's not really a perfect method since there are only three territories to begin with, so I don't use it as a hard and fast rule.

I don't really have a preference. When i go into Amethyst Mountain, I usually go straight for the nearest wolf territory{Unless xp levels are needed to be raised}. If I don't find a dispersal when i first enter the territory, i just leave then re-enter the pack territory and another stranger wolf would have spawned. It really depends what colors I'm looking for on a npc though.

I usually pick Slough for nostalgia reasons - when I played the free WolfQuest as a kid, all my characters' best mates were from the Slough territory, so...yeah, there's definitely a bit of nostalgia there.

I almost always go straight to Specimen. I think I just tend to like the coat colors there more, and nice coat colors mean cute puppies! :) Not to mention I seem to have awful luck in the other two areas when it comes to finding a dispersal of the opposite sex.

Depends on my characters but mostly slough. Though I definitely hate speciman wolf as a mate

I always go to Slough, because getting to Slough Creek is fast. But if I find a wolf that is not dispersal or I don't like the coat colors, I will leave the territory and re-enter and there would be a new wolf. I would do that over and over until I found the one I liked. And I have memorized the "How to get a mate" word phrases:
1. Hello there.
2. I like you.
3. Let's play!
4. Let's start a pack!
5. Let's start a pack!
(For some reason you have to say the last one twice, but that's how I do it.)
