What are the most common ways your wolf dies?

Cattle Ranch.

Every single time, the second time I can kill the calf and run away, but every first time I go there I get shot. The cows make to much noise, the dogs bark, or I manage to eat the calf and suddenly I'm shot.

I don't die with any other animal thought, strange wolves always give in and bears run away.

Hunting bull elk. My laptop is so slow that it seems to freeze when I try get away from them. I don't often die any other way, maybe the odd time I'll get killed by another wolf.

My wolf this past playthrough did not die once; however, whenever I used to play it in the earlier versions, I would often die from bears or the cattle ranch. The cattle ranch never failed to make me anxious trying to get out in time.

With 2.7, it depends on which wolf I'm using.

With Tsuri, hunting is a common way for her to die, since she lacks a lot of strength, so I tend to stick to smaller game, or really weakened prey. With Kuruk, its usually between stranger wolves and starving.

Well really I don't die much. Infact I've never died at all aside from a couple times with my main character. But that was before I gave myself a rule if a wolf character dies, it's dead for good. Those times I died were from a bear and ya, totally risked it with the strangers. Thank goodness I got quite a few characters so I should be good if one dies, though I realized recently when one of my wolves almost died that I'm actually now emotionally connected with my wolves.

eh in 2.7 i've only died once- from a glitch when i had no health and then i started running and then i just dropped to the ground

My wolf dies probably around 75% of the time when I'm hunting elk.

In 2.7 i don't die that often. But if i die, it's often from hunting bull elk or by a bear.

Well in this version, it's a really rare event for me to die, but if I do, it's usually by a bull or even a bear.

I think my wolf usually dies because I'm being stupid, like attacking a bear or bull elk when I have low health to begin with.

surprisingly, since i've gotten the new update, i haven't died once lol. but i remember when i was younger and lacked the patience that i have now that i usually died because of hunting for the bull elk, or i got killed in encounters in the druid territory (why must you be so stubborn and not back down????? why this???)

I mostly died in the past, but my types of deaths changed over the years as it went on.

2007-2009: I mostly died hunting because I stunk at it, even cow elk. It's really embarrassing.
2009-2011: BEARS. Bears always killed me and had no mercy for my poor wolf.
2012-Present: Stranger wolves, I have a habit of running them into the ground and not stopping. I'm like a Druid wolf myself, but sometimes it doesn't work out.

Mostly by Bull Elk in the 2.7 version, usually its the bear that kills my wolf but now its a common(if not, rare) that ny wolf dies from an elk... Some times even from the cow ._.

In version 2.7, hunting bull elk. Since the bull elk and stronger cow elk automatically fight you if you come too close, it is much easier to die that way. It's more realistic than the previous version, where elk would back away from you and only return your attacks.

I gotta agree with the people above me. If I die at all, it's almost always to bull elk. Sometimes, if I get really bold, I might die to a stranger in AM, but that's about it, i think. I don't die very often!
