My newest wolf Tyro's name came from a book I was reading called Chanda's Secrets. The town her grandparents lived in, and the town they use to live in was called Tiro, which reminded me of the name Tyro. So, I switched the 'i' with a 'y' and Tyro's name appeared. =3

Alkyona -- Kingfishers are my favourite birds. Alkyona is the greek pronunciation of kingfisher I believe (or as I have been taught to believe o.o), thus the name for my RP wolf, Alkyona, was born.

On Wolfquest my wolf is named Faith. It's a pretty common name, nothing too special. I got the name from an English Pointer who is used for game hunting and is owned by a very good family friend. She's getting old, but she still has game (no pun intended) and her name is Faith. Considering the fact the Wolfquest now has a very limited vocabulary that makes communicating confusing, difficult, and overall annoying; the name Faith was something WQ allowed me to type and it has a good story behind it.

Also since my username is BeatlesFan, Faith is usually a common all black colour due to the fact that the Beatles usually performed in black suits in the early 60s.

My name Nahani, means "The one who shines" came froma book I read recently at my school library. called: "In the Shadow of a Rainbow" I bought it at my school ever since I read back in March. I guess I readed it three times in 2 months... before buying it. lol i was never a bookworm, until now ^^
First published in 1974, this classic tale of friendship, courage, and the wild has captured hearts of all ages.In 1970, a young Indian who introduced himself as Gregory Tah-Kloma beached his canoe near the author's Babine Lake campsite in the backwoods of British Columbia. Night after night by the campfire, the young Indian told the remarkable story of his devotion to a pack of timber wolves and their legendary female leader: Náhani, "the one who shines." This extraordinary tale has touched many readers over the years with its moving portrayal of the friendship between Greg and Náhani. Certain names and locations have been altered, but the facts of Gregory Tah-Kloma's adventures with Náhani are as he told them to Robert Leslie.

Here's the link below where you could possibly find details and or more info ^^

Mayachi isn't actually my wolfy character. She's actually a human OC. XD My wolf character, Code.. her name sorta came out of nowhere. My male wolf Sunstorm was named because it was daytime and raining.

Drift - I like to think of her as a calm spirit "drifting" through life always trying to find her place. but never does.

Kinda a sad story now that I come to think of it.

Years ago, at the beginning of my roleplaying career, I watched the movie The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. By mistake, I misheard Maugrim's name as Morgrin. That has been my username and first and most favored character ever since.
Maugrim is a fictional wolf, a servant of White Witch in the book The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by C. S. Lewis. He is captain of the witch's Secret Police.

Squeak~ She's a very shy wolf, almost mouse-like. Her eyes are lusterless, just a pallid grey-gold. Mice make squeaky noises, so therefore Squeak was born <3

I tend to go for uncommon names ^-^
