A very weird thing has happened

So, yesterday I played with this wolf named Bear on multiplayer (with No Chat on). So I don't have ANY wolves named Bear in My Wolves and I haven't downloaded anything or done anything. I just logged onto WolfQuest, and...now Bear is in My Wolves (and in my computer also, under My Wolves). Playable. None of the other wolves I played with in that game are in My Wolves.

She has the exact same stats and bio, which I can tell because Bear was a very distinctive looking wolf. I've changed my password just in case, but I don't think someone hacked into my account or anything. Bear's owner would have to access my computer as well, and, well, that's probably not happening.

I think there might be a problem with my computer syncing files. My wolf saves accidentally get deleted or moved a lot, so maybe that interfered with Bear's wolf saving? :? Either way, I guess I'll be playing as Bear now :P

Your account hasn't been compromised, it is just a quirk with multiplayer. I've seen other players' wolves in my wolf carousel while others have seen my wolf in their wolf carousel — it happens on occasion and always after playing in online servers. I'm not a dev so I'm not entirely sure why it happens or how it works; my (probably wrong) guess is that it may have something to do with the way wolves are stored in multiplayer saves?
