Any spots in SC with lots of wildflowers?

Post by duskypack » Mon May 24, 2021 3:06 pm

In 2.0-2.7, I loved that the area surrounding the Aspen Heights den was filled with flowers and it became one of my favorite spots on the map. I haven't been able to find a similar location in AE's Slough Creek. Are there are any equivalent spots with tons of wildflowers?

The road is now calling, and I must away.
Over hill and under tree, through lands where never light has shone.
By silver streams that run down to the sea.

I'm tempted to say the Crevice Lake/Prospect Peak area had a lot of wildflowers, though I may be replacing grass with wildflowers in my mind. Take what I say woth a grain of salt though, and feel free to check in that area in game.

I don't have the AE Slough Creek yet, but I also loved the flowers in Aspen Heights in the older versions. While I don't think I ever picked that area as a den site (if I remember right I always picked Bison Peak or the tree one, I think...), I did like how pretty it was with all the flowers.

I've taken a lot of screenshots with wild flowers in AE, they're usually patches of purple lavender-like wildflowers. I'll see if I can pull up a decent pic of them =-)

I know that there's some areas in Slough Creek with some pretty wildflowers since I've managed to take screenshots with some of them. I think they're usually up at the higher elevations in Slough Creek, I usually find them near the middle of the map. I can't remember exactly where I usually find them though. I hope this is helpful.
