Can't figure out how to join Beta testing for Steam.

I can't seem to figure out how to join the Beta program for Wolfquest 3 on Steam. When I go to the place that I would join the program, it says I don't have the option to join the program. I'm not to familiar with Steam, so can I have some help?

Hi B-Par,

Follow these steps:

1. In your Steam library, right-click WolfQuest: Anniversary Edition. (Not 'WolfQuest'.)
2. In the context menu, click 'Properties...'.

3. At the top of the properties interface, click the 'Betas' tab.
4. Under 'Select the beta you would like to opt into:', click the dropdown menu.
5. Select 'beta - WQ Public Beta'. (You won't be able to test the private beta.)

6. Steam will begin to download the public beta build. Click 'close' in the bottom right corner of the properties interface.
7. 'WolfQuest: Anniversary Edition' should now have '[beta]' appended / should now display 'WolfQuest: Anniversary Edition [beta]' in your library.

Some notes for accessing the public beta branch:

• The game must not be running. You must exit the game.
• Steam must not be in offline mode.

If problems persist, try restarting Steam.

Alright, might have another issue with this :/. I think I started WQAE with the beta settings on, but I'm not sure if it worked. Should I see the stats option? In the dev blogs, they said they added into the beta. Correct me if I'm wrong.

1.0.4^? hasn't been released yet. In last week's devblog, Dave did state that it may take a few days.

We’re finishing up the next substantial game update, which will be version 1.0.4, and it should be available in public beta on Steam within a few days.

A few could typically mean 2–9, since it generally means more than one yet less than ten.

Barring any technical hiccups or headaches, here's hoping it'll release sometime this week. Keep an eye on the version number in the bottom left corner of the title scene!

As of this edit, 1.0.4 is now live in the public beta. Its patch notes were posted on Discord three hours ago!
